Salman Shar

Salman Shar is a practising Advocate High Court based in Karachi with several years of standing at the bar. He leads the chamber's litigation practice, appearing before the trial courts, the Family Courts and Rent Controllers, and the superior judiciary of Sindh.

His work is concentrated in civil, criminal and constitutional litigation — property and title disputes, suits for declaration and injunction, bail and criminal defence at every stage from the FIR through trial, and the enforcement of fundamental rights through constitutional petitions under Article 199.

Clients come to him for candour as much as advocacy. Every brief is assessed honestly at the outset — including when a case is not worth pursuing — and then prepared thoroughly: pleadings drafted precisely, documents proved properly, and a single clear theory of the case carried from the plaint through to final arguments.

Uroosa Salman

Uroosa Salman is an Advocate High Court and a partner in the chamber, with more than six years of standing at the bar. Her practice brings together two strands that rarely sit in the same hands — family law and the employment and human-resource side of corporate practice — and clients benefit from a lawyer who is equally comfortable before a Family Court judge and across a boardroom table.

In family matters she represents clients in dissolution of marriage and khula, maintenance for wives and children, recovery of dower and dowry articles, child custody and guardianship, and succession. She approaches these cases with the discretion they demand and with a clear preference for outcomes that hold: a negotiated settlement properly recorded before the court is often worth more to a family than a contested judgment years later. Where settlement is not possible or not safe, the case is fought without hesitation.

On the employment and HR side, she advises on service rules and employment policy, contracts of employment and their termination, disciplinary and inquiry proceedings, workplace grievances including harassment complaints, and the drafting and vetting of the documentation that governs the employment relationship. Her counsel is practical and preventive — most employment disputes are decided by the paperwork and the process that preceded them, and she works with employers to get both right before a claim arises.

She has served with Sindh Bank as a legal advisor and legal consultant, advising the institution on its legal and regulatory obligations, reviewing agreements and banking documentation, supporting recovery and litigation matters, and guiding management on employment and HR questions as they arose. That in-house experience gives her an unusually commercial view of legal risk: she has sat on the client's side of the table and understands that advice has to be actionable, not merely correct.

Uroosa advises individuals, families and institutional clients, and is admitted to appear before the High Court.

Imran Hyder Shar

Imran Hyder Shar is an Advocate High Court with over ten years of practice in litigation and legal advisory work. He has represented clients before the trial courts, the superior judiciary and a range of tribunals and legal forums, and takes matters at every stage — from the first notice, through trial, to appeal.

His practice spans civil, criminal, constitutional, family and commercial matters. A large part of the work is preparation rather than performance: drafting pleadings, applications and agreements, researching the law that actually governs the point in issue, and managing files so that dates, evidence and documents are in order well before a hearing. He argues his own briefs, and the argument is shaped by that preparation.

Clients come to him for an analytical reading of a case and for advice they can act on — a candid view of the merits, what the matter will take, and what the realistic outcome is. A decade of continuous practice has been built on professional integrity and on holding to the standards of the profession while pressing the client's interests without hesitation.
